Harvest Barn and Bantam Wolves holding a Food Drive!
Submitted By Vince Rines on Monday, November 14, 2016
Playing hockey each winter is a joy for many of our town's youth but it can be a costly venture if it were not for the support of local businesses. One such business that sponsors a local Bantam (13-14 year olds)minor hockey team is Harvest Barn on Highway 55. Their monetary sponsorship is crucial to the minor hockey association's success but it is often overlooked. As a way of supporting their sponsor's business and as a way to help give back to those in need in our community, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Bantam LL1 Wolves in conjunction with Harvest Barn will be holding a Food Drive on Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th at the country fresh food market located at 1822 Niagara Stone Road.

All are asked to stop buy with any food items they wish to donate. Team members will be at Harvest Barn throughout the two days (9am-6pm Saturday and 9:30am-5:30pm Sunday) collecting any food or money you wish to donate with all food and proceeds going to the Salvation Army. Canned fruits and vegetables, caned meat and pasta sauce are just a few of the items in high demand but any item you wish to donate will be appreciated.
